DMCA & Copyright Policy

OldBook.pk respects the intellectual property rights of others and is committed to the preservation of devotional poetry in a lawful and respectful manner. This page explains our approach to copyright and how to request the removal of any content.

Our Mission

OldBook.pk is a non-commercial cultural-preservation project dedicated to archiving Balti, Urdu and Arabic devotional lyrics – qasida, noha, marsiya, manqabat and naat – so that reciters and lovers of this heritage can access them. Much of this poetry is traditional, classical or public-domain, and a large part is contributed by our community of users.

Original Commentary

The introductions, transliterations, translations and background notes we provide on our pages are our own original work, created to make this devotional poetry accessible to a wider audience.
